Hoya Optical is a multi-billion dollar lens manufacturer headquartered in Japan. They manufacture eyeglasses and contact lenses and are regarded as a leader in vision technology in healthcare products. To gain a competitive advantage, they’ve begun multiple projects globally to enhance their business processes through enhancements in data management. These include implementing an enterprise integration hub as well as a data hub. Hoya selected TechStone and Boomi’s solutions to implement these enhancements globally. Hoya has chosen an API and composable architecture strategy for reusability and efficiencies across all integrations. They’ve also decided to use Event Streams from Boomi for real-time streaming. TechStone is helping implement these in India, Columbia, and Thailand, with more regions to come.

With these automated integrations, Hoya can process order-to-cash systems, enabling a more efficient workstream between vision physicians and manufacturing plants.
